Velvet coat is mainly aimed at long haired dogs but can be used on shorter dogs as well.
The way to use velvet coat is to shake it well before use, then either spray it on the brush or ruffle the coat the wrong way and spray it on the coat avoiding eyes, ears, nose and genital areas. Then your simple brush the spray into the coat.

I got mine from The range and it has lasted me ages! The Velvet coat bottle is in the picture above so you know what it looks like.
And the Range website is http://www.therange.co.uk

Poo Bags

When you take your puppy/dog for a walk you must always clean up after it. Instead of walking around with baby nappy bags you can get a poo bag carrier.
I personally think these are the best things ever! They are like a keyring for your lead with a whole in the middle of the bone so you can access your bags. From a distance you wouldn't even know it was carrying poo bags! And it is much better then walking around with bags in your pocket, plus you will always have poo bags available you wont forget them.
You can get them in a range of colours. Some come with a few roles of bags and others don't.
The one i have got is a pink bone ( shown in the picture below) from the Range. It came with a few roles of bags and the bags have light pink flowers on.
I think if your always forgetting doggy bags or your looking for something to store your bags in then this is the right thing for you!!

House Training

Many owners find that house training is the most difficult thing when it comes to bringing up a puppy. There are many ways to house train your puppy but this is the way I got successfully thought.
If your puppy is to young to go out then get some training mats ( as shown in the picture ) and place them in different areas around the house. its best to put some newspaper under them as well so it doesn't wreck your floor! If your puppy goes to the toilet somewhere else on the floor then you simply place your puppy on the mat and say she's a good girl/boy because the mat is the correct place to go.
If your puppy is old enough to go outside then the first thing you do when you wake up is let them out and the first thing you do when you get home from work/school is let your puppy out. You still leave training mats around the house put this time if they go to the toilet somewhere else on the floor you let them out and keep them outside for 5 minutes. Let them out regularly mainly after they have eaten, before bed time and before you go out. If they go to the toilet in the correct place then give them loads of praise and maybe a little treat!

These training mats are from pets at home. They range in price depending on how many mats you want.
